As per previous reports, many Nokia 8 users started to receive the Android 7.1.2 Nougat update along with the October Android security update. But now with this latest news in line, users will not have to update to Android 7.1.2 Nougat first. Soon the Android 8.0 Oreo OS will be rolled out by HMD Global to Nokia 8 smartphones.

The Nokia 8 phone is now available in India via offline channels like Reliance, Croma, etc. The phone will debut in the online channel Amazon India today. The handset comes with a price tag of Rs 35,999. The customers will receive many exciting launch offers along with the phone. Besides the Nokia 8 smartphone, the company has just recently rolled out the Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS and the October Android security update to Nokia 6 smartphone. Only a handful of Nokia 6 users received the latest software update. But the company has promised that soon the update will be available to all the Nokia 6 users. You can check for the latest update by going to the phone's Settings > About Phone > System Update.
