Thus, the company's revenue fell from 45 million to 40.8 million dollars.

The situation with LG and Samsung is much more interesting. LG, for example, managed to get an income of 13.64 billion dollars over the past 3 months, which is the highest figure in the company's history. Compared to the same period last year, LG managed to increase it by $200 million. Of course, we are talking about business as a whole, which includes TVs and household appliances, in the case of LG smartphones, there is still work to be done on increasing profits using 5G and folding devices

Samsung in the 3rd quarter of 2018 received revenue of $57.5 billion, profit amounted to 15.5 billion dollars. For the company, these figures are also a record. However, experts believe that Samsung has already passed its peak, as the need for NAND and DRAM chips are falling, which will cause prices to fall and reduce the profits of the Korean giant. In the long run, Samsung wants to remain on the leaderboard.
