Galaxy S10 really comes in three versions, like the iPhone 2018 model year. The relevant data was confirmed by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People’s Republic of China, which issued Samsung Electronics permission to sell all three devices in mainland China.
This is the first certification of the flagship smartphones of the South Korean manufacturer, which took place almost five months before the expected date of their appearance in retail.
In the database of the Chinese regulator, all three versions of the Galaxy S10 appear under the numbers SM-G9700, SM-G9730 and SM-G9750, respectively.
The numerical gradation used in the numbering suggests that the SM-G9700 is the youngest version with a less extensive set of functions, while the SM-G9750 is likely to play the role of a top model with a larger screen and advanced hardware.
A non-characteristic for American and European devices "0" in the name of the device indicates that they are intended for sale exclusively in China.
Available Galaxy S10
According to rumors, the younger SM-G970 will be equipped with a 5.8-inch display with an 18: 9 aspect ratio, which will not be able to boast a recognizable bend from the edges and two cameras on the rear panel. The use of a flat matrix and a single photo module will allow Samsung to save on the production of the device and, perhaps, to assign it a more reasonable retail price than the iPhone XR, with which the new product will have to compete.
Galaxy S10 - Specs & Release Date
According to industry sources, the top version will be equipped with a 6.44-inch display with an integrated fingerprint scanner and a triple camera. A similar module is installed in the subflagmansky Galaxy A7 2018 model year. Thanks to him, the smartphone will be able to make high-quality pictures with the widest viewing angles, significantly expanding the space that fits in the frame, compared with smartphones competing manufacturers.
The release of the Galaxy S10 is likely to take place no earlier than February 2019, in order to avoid internal competition with the folding Galaxy X, which will be shown in November.
